In 2018, we were given the opportunity to open a retail store and start our own business. I stepped away from economic development and Andy came out of retirement to begin Bulldog Liquidators, PA.

We survived Covid, opened a 2nd store in Mt. Pocono, shut down our Brodheadsville store, and in October of 2023, purchased the Holley Ross pottery property in Cresco. We have also renovated (and created over 40 pieces of custom art and furniture) for 6 residential and commercial properties, which we then sold. Stocked, of course, with furniture, vanities, flooring, lighting, rugs, and accessories from Bulldog.

The Holley Ross property is our next victim and back in the day, was a major pocono tourist attraction. We also use it for storage for the Mount Pocono store.

Bulldog Liquidators PA is a woman-owned, family-operated business. The first Bulldog was opened in 2007 and operated for over 30 years in the liquidation/asset management industry. The original Bulldog (Jonathon Manhan) retired in 2024 and now there are 2 stores left, one on the west coast and us here in Pennsylvania.

Meet Our Team

Andy Hart, Operations Manager /Owner

Andy is a veteran of the electronics refurbishing industry. He founded and managed two organizations, Valtron Technologies, Inc. and Digital West Marketing. These companies each employed over 100 people and, combined, posted sales of over $100 million during an 11-year period.

Andy is in charge of pretty much nothing, makes fun of customers, takes direction from Rob and Dawn and sometimes orders office supplies. He clocks 20 minutes a week and is officially Chief of Dad Jokes. (CODJ)

Rob Whittaker, General Manager

Rob is our general manager. He was at Kmart as a manager for 3 years and knows all things retail. We feel lucky to have him! Rob oversees product, personnel, and marketing for both Mount Pocono and Brodheadsville.

Jimmy Capelle, Warehouse Manager

Jimmy is our "can do" man. He's got a background in landscaping, retail, and the food industry and can be seen doing everything from working the register to managing and organizing the warehouse. If it needs to be done, Jimmy is the man to do it!

Lynn Davis, Lead Cashier

Lynn is our cashier extraordinaire. She handles the front of the house with ease and an ever present smile. She is one of the most important people here at Bulldog! We love and appreciate Lynn, she does what few others can and that's handle a large volume of people at the register and never get frustrated.

Lynn is a native of the area and is well known from her 4 years as a cashier at Shoprite. But we have her now and hope she will never leave us!

Andrew Ryals, Associate Bike and Furniture Repair

Andrew is a student at Pleasant Valley High School and is one of the hardest working people we have. He's enormously polite, always willing to help, and can fix almost anything. He is an amazing asset to our team and we hope he stays with us forever!

Rory Robinson, Associate

Rory is a is a student at Pleasant Valley High School playing on the PVHS Varsity Football team. Rory enjoys paint-balling and playing video games. His future aspirations include joining the military!

Trish Fleming, Associate

Trish has been working in the customer service industry for over 15 years. She was raised in Brodheadsville but just moved back after being gone a decade! You can always find Trish with a smile on her face and ready to assist you with any questions you may have!

Jimelle Nickels-Carr, Processing Associate

Meet Jimelle, a dedicated and passionate helper who inspires positive change! Jimelle loves to express herself by singing and dressing up. You'll have to come in and meet her!

Janet Trotman, Processing Associate

Janet has over 10 years in customer service experience and will be bringing those skills to Bulldog! She's been living in Mt. Pocono for over 15 years, and we're lucky we have her now!

Carmen Rosa, Processing Associate

Having more than 25 years of retail experience, Carmen brings her A game to Bulldog to ensure that every customer's shopping experience is one that is pleasant, enjoyable and affordable!

Alyssa Dima, Processing Associate

Alyssa is a psychology student originally from New Jersey. She is outgoing and creative, as well as a team player. She looks forward to interacting with customers, and we're excited to have her on the team!

Darla Santizo, Assistant Manager

Darla worked for Walmart for over 15 years in multiple positions, including assistant manager! She recently moved to the area from Massachusetts, and is looking forward to settling in with Bulldog!

Kim Decker, Processing Associate

Kim's had many job opportunities, but she's glad she landed in retail working for Bulldog! Her favorite part of her life is her children and being a part of their lives! We're glad she can be part of Bulldog's future!
